BIO


Professor Yinglan Li has been engaged in nursing practice, research and education since 1986, and has made important contributions to the construction of nurse occupational safety system and innovation of patient safety management. She led the establishment of needle-stick injury report system for nurses, published the first monograph on nurse occupational safety in China. She has built an early warning management system for patients, led the establishment of Chinese VTE Nursing Early Warning Alliance, and promoted the standardization and scientization of nursing early warning management of VTE nationwide. Professor Yinglan Li has trained 5 doctoral students and 68 master students; presided 23 national, provincial and ministerial research projects; published 182 SCI, MEDLINE, CSCD and other papers; participated in 7 national invention patents, including 5 invention patents and 2 utility model patents; compiled 35 textbooks and monographs; took the lead in writing 2 expert consensus and participated in the formulation of 6 guidelines and expert consensus. Professor Yinglan Li has been the director of Nursing Department of Xiangya Hospital of Central South University for 12 years, and is now the associate dean of Xiangya School of Nursing of Central South University, the ninth batch of cadres aiding Xinjiang appointed by the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, vice president of the Chinese Nursing Association, Fellow of American Academy of Nursing (FAAN), member of the Nursing Expert Committee of Medical Administration Center of National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China, vice president of Nursing Branch of Asia Society for Emergency and Critical Care Medicine, etc. Currently, Professor Yinglan Li is also the member of the editorial board of Chinese Journal of Nursing, Chinese Nursing Management, Nursing Journal of Chinese People’s Liberation Army, Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing, etc.
